My name is Garett Kopczynski, if you haven't figured that out already. I have always wanted to design games, even from an early age, and I have tried my hand at just about every format out there. I love gaming, to be short. However, developing games is a bit more difficult when you want to do it on your own time. We do live in a time where it is more convenient to develop and publish something, but most of the time you're on your own. When I started Starborn Darkness, I wanted this to be a collaborative project, and perhaps even the start of a gaming company. Sadly, it didn't quite work out like that, but I do owe my debts of gratitude to those that helped in whatever way they could.
In the end, Starborn Darkness is a labor of love for me. Hopefully that shows through in the game. It combines some of my favorite things in literature and gaming, and though they may not be your favorite things, I want you to add to the game by telling your own stories with the game. Not all of us are so hopelessly dorky on the inside as to check the blogs of indie game developers because they have some sort of game developer's crush on them, so I don't necessarily expect you to tell me when you're having fun with the game, but I wanted to make this a shout out to you who are reading this: Thanks, and I hope that you're having fun.
